A History of Innovation and Success
LMCA was founded in 1985 by Allan Feldman, a corporate development executive expert at helping businesses grow. Allan’s vision was to offer the best elements of joint venture partnering, brand building and trademark licensing to corporations looking for growth opportunities beyond their internal capabilities.

Known as an innovator from the start, LMCA pursued many firsts in the field of brand licensing including co-branding, retail exclusives, technology transfer and licensee licensor co-op programs. LMCA’s first clients were Eastman Kodak Company, Zenith Electronics and the Popsicle division of Unilever. Many of the licenses created then are still thriving years later.
Today, LMCA remains the only licensing firm dedicated exclusively to strategic brand extension licensing. With offices in the US, Europe and Asia, the firm has created licenses with products sold in more than 70 countries. In the past 25 years LMCA has helped over 60 major brands achieve their strategic objectives through brand licensing.

LMCA is noted for its exceptional creativity and for the high caliber of its licensee partners. The company ranks as the 9th largest licensor in the world and is credited with managing more of the top-rated brand licensing programs than any other organization in the field.
